--------- What will you do?
As a business process analyst, you take part in the dynamic business operations team. Your goal is to automate internal business processes with the use of robotics. You will create business process definitions, validate business requirements and develop process maps used for automation. Besides that, you are also responsible for quality control during the development and implementation phase of the robot. You are involved from A to Z: once the robot is live, you remain the business responsible and first point of contact. That way, you can assure the correct functioning of the robot during its lifetime.
You’ll define the scope of a robotics project (to automate a business process) and qualify business needs
You participate in the definition and evaluation of all possible business cases.
You create a detailed business analysis, outlining potential problems, opportunities and solutions for a business process.
You translate business needs into functional requirements.
You describe the process:
Design process flows, workflow charts and diagrams by studying system capabilities and writing specifications
Translate the flow into work instructions and test scripts
Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications
Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures
You participate actively in core team meetings and communicate progress.
You will collaborate with an offshore development team, project managers, business owners and all involved stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
You’re involved in budgeting and forecasting.
You monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress and recommending actions.
You prepare functional and technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
In short, you’re the full process owner and after an extensive training period, you will be challenged to combine different projects and manage more complex and larger projects. You will gain experience on different projects and with different colleagues: you will not easily get bored!
