Within the global Medical Devices Project team, we are looking for a motivated supply chain enthusiast!

---------  What will you do?

You are responsible for the planning, alignment and execution of supply chain activities related to new projects on a global level.  These projects can include new product introductions, product line extensions, network optimization, acquisitions, divestiture, product design changes and lifecycle management, temperature sensitive and cold chain supply chain projects. 

 

You’ll work directly with project managers, regional supply and demand planners, supply network planners, the master data management team, regulatory affairs (RA) and quality assurance (QA) teams and business partners. Together you’ll ensure strong working relationships and achieve shared project objectives.

 

You will:

  • Utilize global supply chain projects planning processes to enact product changes and changes to supply chain flows. This role will plan for seamless transitions from the ‘as is’ configuration to the ‘to be’ state.

  • Incorporate project management excellence and lean methodology.

  • Significantly align with all involved stakeholders to ensure capacity and capability are appropriately utilized for planning and scheduling and an agreement is reached on upcoming changes.

  • Support scenario planning analysis, with capacity bottleneck identification, if needed.

  • Ensure appropriate available capacities to meet timelines and volume requirements.

  • Support launch, phase-in and phase-out plans and prepare for operational supply chain and plan launch readiness.

  • Identify and pro-actively mitigate risks throughout the entire supply chain process.

  • Ensure activities performed are compliant with the Ethicon Quality System.

  • Be responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

---------  Who are you?

  • Obtained an analytical degree in supply chain, engineering and/or economics

  • Are familiar with project management, lean methodology and planning and scheduling software

  • Gained strong analytical skills with the capability to query systems and extract sets of data for analysis

  • Work accurate with high attention to details – even in complex situations

  • Have a sense of proactivity and urgency: you’re able to prioritize tasks

  • Excel has no secrets for you, and you’re ready to work with Access as well

  • Master strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with all stakeholders

  • Like to work project-oriented

  • Speak fluently English
