Within this multinational organization, the Insurances Department is looking for a dynamic and motivated young professional with strong due diligence and a high sense of responsibility! They’re growing quickly and have some ambitious goals; are you up for a new challenge?

---------  What will you do?

All national and global insurances of the group are managed in Belgium. Together with the insurance manager, your mission is to ensure daily efficient insurance management within the group and manage local insurances in Belgium at the same time. The business insurances portfolio is really wide and can vary from property, vehicle and environment insurances to HR-related insurances.

 

As an Insurance Consultant, you’ll act as an advisor for the whole group:

  • You are informed about main risks, losses and claims and continuously update all related information

  • You keep up to date with changes in processes, systems, products and services

  • You build up your internal network for information exchange

 

You will support efficient and effective insurance management, both locally and globally:

  • You’ll follow up and respond to certificate requests

  • You prepare training schedules and training materials related to the current and future insurances

  • You prepare budget overviews, follow up incoming invoices and pursuit timely payment of insurance premiums and broker compensations

  • You develop and update internal communication tools and documentation

  • You plan, organize and coordinate expert visits

  • You participate in broker meetings when needed

  • You proactively follow up the Belgian insurance portfolio: renewals, updates, …

  • You update insurance policies and procedures

  • You give support for the collection of internal information in the context of policy renewals and claim management

 

You cooperate with multiple internal (finance and business departments) and external stakeholders on a global level. You’ll report to the head of the insurance management department.
